Privacy Policy «Vinicool»

1. General information

The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is all data with which you can be personally identified.

2. Collection, processing and use of personal data

The data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find their contact details in the imprint of this website.

On the one hand, your data is collected when you communicate it to us. This can, for example, be data that you enter in a contact form. Other data is automatically recorded by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of the page call). This data is collected automatically as soon as you visit our website.

Part of the data is collected to ensure that the website is provided without errors. Other data can be used to analyze your user behavior.

You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request the correction, blocking or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint if you have any further questions on the subject of data protection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

3. Use of own cookies

A so-called "session cookie" is set when certain pages are called up. This is a small text file that is automatically deleted from your computer after the end of the browser session. This file is used exclusively to be able to use certain applications. You can change the settings on most web browsers so that your browser does not accept new cookies or you can have received cookies deleted. How this works specifically for your browser can usually be found out via its help function.

4. Server Log Files

As with any connection to a web server, the server of our web host (Hostpoint AG, 8640 Rapperswil-Jona) and the website operator WIX logs and stores certain technical data. This data includes the IP address and the operating system of your device, the data, the access time, the type of browser and the browser request including the origin of the request (referrer). This is necessary for technical reasons in order to make our website available to you. The web host and the website operator protect this data against unauthorized access with technical and organizational measures and do not pass it on to third parties. Insofar as we process personal data, we do so because of our interest in offering you the best possible user experience and in guaranteeing the security and stability of the systems.

5.Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", ie text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website.

Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the website on behalf of the operator of this website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

You can prevent the storage of cookies or delete them again by making the appropriate settings in your browser.

6. SSL or TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses an SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

7. Web store

We would like to point out that the IP data of the connection owner, as well as the name, address and means of payment of the buyer are stored by the web shop operator in the context of cookies for the purpose of simplifying the purchasing process and for subsequent contract processing.

In addition, the following data is also stored with us for the purpose of contract processing: name, address, telephone and e-mail address. The data you provide is required to fulfill the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data we cannot conclude the contract with you. There is no data transmission to third parties, with the exception of the transmission of credit card data to the processing bank/payment service provider for the purpose of debiting the purchase price and to our tax consultant to fulfill our tax obligations. Credit card details are not stored by us.

After aborting the shopping process, the data stored by us will be deleted. If a contract is concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the end of the tax retention period (10 years).

8. Encrypted payment transactions on this website

If there is an obligation to transmit your payment data (e.g. credit card details) after the conclusion of a fee-based contract, this data is required for payment processing.

Payment transactions using common means of payment (Visa/MasterCard, direct debit) are made exclusively via an encrypted SSL or TLS connection. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. Your credit card details are neither recorded nor stored by us, but are transmitted directly to the payment provider.

With encrypted communication, your payment data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

9. Marketing

The website operator WIX offers various applications for online marketing. Some of these are used by us. In any case, you will be asked whether your data may be used for marketing purposes (e.g. newsletter, sending offers, etc.). You must actively give your consent with an opt-in, otherwise none of your data will be used for marketing purposes. We would like to point out that your data will never be passed on to third parties, even if you have confirmed to Vinicool that they can be used for marketing purposes.

10. Your Rights

In principle, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority.
